FIFA.Com - Lokomotiv Sofia crush Rodopa to go second

Lokomotiv Sofia pressed their claims for a European place next season when a 5-0 rout of lowly Rodopa Smolyan on Friday helped them climb to second place in the Bulgarian Premier League.
Champions Levski Sofia, unbeaten in the league, top the standings with 45 points from 17 matches, followed by Lokomotiv on 42 points from 18 matches. CSKA Sofia are third on 39.
The Railwaymen, who registered their fourth consecutive league win, took the lead after 15 minutes when central defender Georgi Markov powered in a header from veteran Hristo Koilov's cross.
Ivan Paskov doubled Lokomotiv's lead nine minutes after the interval while substitute Hristo Markov put the issue beyond doubt when he made it 3-0 in the 64th minute as Koilov turned provider again.
Rodopa's misery was completed in the last quarter of an hour when league top scorer Tsvetan Genkov netted twice to take his tally to 14.
Rodopa moved a step closer to relegation after their sixth game in a row without winning. They are 15th on 11 points.
In Friday's other game, Marek Dupnitsa thumped bottom club Chernomorets Burgas 4-1 and climbed to 11th.
